Into The Wild

APRIL 27th - MAY 3rd, 2025

Rewild Your Spirit in the Heart of Africa

What would it feel like to reconnect with your wild, untamed self? To witness your true spirit, free from the noise of everyday life? If you’re seeking deeper meaning and a return to your divine value, this is your invitation to explore.

Join us for a transformative Yoga & Safari Retreat in the breathtaking wilderness of Botswana. Immerse yourself in the rhythm of nature, connect with like-minded souls, and experience the rich culture and untamed beauty of Africa’s landscapes.

Guided by Samantha Warner and Charlie Morgan, in collaboration with Munga Plains, this 6-night, 7-day retreat is designed to help you step away from the demands of daily life and into a space of pure presence. Rooted in nature and simplicity, this journey is an opportunity to reignite your spirit, restore balance, and rediscover a more holistic way of being.

Your experience begins with the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, continues through the wildlife-rich Chobe National Park, and leads to an intimate safari lodge set amidst the vast savannah. With a perfect blend of adventure and tranquility, this retreat is more than an escape—it’s a profound reconnection with yourself and the wild.

Are you ready to rewild?

Africa changes you forever, like nowhere on earth. Once you have been there, you will never be the same. But how do you begin to describe its magic to someone who has never felt it?

The experience

This retreat is a wild holistic wellness experience with yoga, meditations and workshops led by the incredible Charlie Morgan Yoga, safari game drives in Chobe National Park, cultural opportunities with local artisans, traditional dances, and restful evenings under the stars.

Located on the ancestral land of the Basubiya people, Munga Plains is dedicated to respecting and preserving local traditions and cultures, fostering a harmonious coexistence.

Your accommodation is a blend of comfort and immersion in nature, designed to provide you with a serene and rejuvenating experience, yet stripping away the luxuries so we can focus on connecting back to the nature of ourselves without the artificial constructs of society. The facilities are thoughtfully crafted using three main materials: wood, thatching grass, and canvas. This approach ensures a minimal impact on the environment while providing a close connection with the surrounding wilderness.

Farm-To-Table

Sharing meals and food is an integral part of an Embodied Retreat. During your REWILD week you will be offered local flavors crafted by culinary enthusiast chef Ednah Rosen, author of "A Taste of Botswana". With a genuine appreciation for local ingredients and culinary traditions, Ednah brings a unique and delightful menu that deepens your journey into Africa. She is passionate about preserving, protecting and promoting her Setswana heritage through food.

Munga Plains is committed to sustainability and local sourcing in the dining offerings. The farm-to-table concept involves cultivating the garden and orchard to grow herbs, vegetables, and fruits, which are use in the dishes served.

“Amazing! I love Charlie and think she is a wonderful teacher. I especially loved that it wasn't just 'asana' focussed and while we were given dynamic practices in the mornings, restorative options were offered.

The workshop style inviting journalling, introspection and various life assessment skills, just what should be offered on a retreat, as it was a safe space to explore and come to terms with what was, what is and what will be. This kind of work is so important for growth and having the right place to explore it makes it more potent.”
